His name reuses his older brother Désiré’s name as middle name — Walloon naming custom; can indicate the older brother was thought lost (he wasn’t) or simply a name-share between siblings.

Notable: died 1891, the same year as his mother Désirée (d. July 18, 1891). Whether he died before or after her — and whether he was one of the “6 predeceased children” in the obit or alive at her death — is unresolved.
