Member of the Gold Star Mothers (sons Lester and Jerome killed in WWII and Korea) and the Navy Mothers Club (son Donald, U.S. Navy, WWII). Mother of Dorothy L. (1923), Donald H. (1924), Jerome (1928), Larry (1930), Lloyd, Rosemary, Mae/Mable. Daughter of William Schneider and Mathilda (Unknown) Schneider.

Mrs. L. Krumpos Sr.

Mrs. Lawrence Krumpos Sr., 76, 811 Oak St., De Pere, died early this morning in a Green Bay hospital. The former Mathilda Schneider, was born in Kenosha Jan. 25, 1896 and married Mr. Krumpos April 9, 1922. She was a member of the Gold Star Mothers and the Navy Mothers Club.

Survivors include four sons, Kenneth, Harold, and Lloyd, all of Green Bay; Lawrence Jr., De Pere; three daughters, Mrs. Donald (Rosemary) Koening, and Mrs. Leo (Dorothy) Matuszak, both of Green Bay; Mrs. Donald (Mable) Albers, De Pere; 29 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Paul and Fred Schneider, both of Kenosha; two sisters, Mrs. Anna Mider, Cincinnatti, Ohio, and Mrs. Mabel Reinke, Green Bay. Three sons, Lester, Jerome, and Donald, preceded her in death.

At Ryan Funeral Home, De Pere, after 2 p.m. Thursday. Prayer service 8 p.m. Thursday. Funeral Mass 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home with the Rev. Blaise Peters officiating. Burial in Mount Calvary Cemetery.
